ICCA and Goldfinch Award Winners

Elementary students voted in March to choose the year's Goldfinch and Iowa Children's Choice Award winner. Just yesterday, the state-wide totals were revealed and winners announced. . . drumroll please. . .

The Goldfinch winner is The Boss Baby, by Marla Frazee!

And the Iowa Children's Choice Award winner is Runaway Twin, by Peg Kehret. 

This author has been the ICCA winner a record SIX times with this win!

Students at South Prairie voted The Boss Baby as their building winner while DC Elementary students had selected Watch Me Throw the Ball by Mo Willems. Students in grades 3 - 5 had voted for Runaway Twin as their winner.
