Book Fair Fun!

Our elementary school book fairs wrapped up last night, and they were all a big success! With the fairs set up in our libraries, students had the chance during their library rotations to check out the merchandise and make wish lists. Below are some students enjoying the book Press Here, a Goldfinch-nominated book for the year.

And students browsing the other items available:

And a special thanks to the book fair moms who created this awesome photo opportunity for our students! LOVE it!

Thanks again to everyone who stopped by the book fairs in our building! We appreciate your support of reading and literacy!

  1. I'm completely impressed with the photo station! Do you have any directions for how it was done? Those look like official posters so I'm wondering what I missed from the website?

  2. I think the book fair co-charis attended a local event re: promoting and running your book fair. You're right that these are "official" posters from Scholastic. I think they sometimes have these workshops advertised on their website for the book fair chair to sign up for. Good luck--hopefully they'll have other photo op stations for later fairs!

  3. this sounds like a great book fair...
I have greatly enjoyed having Book Worm Central as my Virginia book fair vendor. They are efficient, courteous, and endlessly helpful. I have always been pleased with the book When I call, I speak to someone who really knows the business and can get me the answers I need. I know the staff’s names and they know mine, unlike some larger companies where I feel like I’m just another unknown customer. I highly recommend Book Worm Central as the best Virginia book fairs experience you will ever have in this area
