Many of our lessons focus on the Iowa Goldfinch Book Award nominees, and a year ago, Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra Stein was one of the nominees.

That book is still one of my all-time favorite read-alouds! I have students still begging for me to read it again and again, despite the fact I have already read it one time.
